Andy has more than 30 years’ experience as a manager in a number of organisations across the public and private sector. He teaches across a range of subjects in the field of organisation and management, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a particular focus on strategic change and sustainability. His research explores sustainability from the perspective of the societal and organisational transitions required to address global challenges and social problems that are currently impacting on human and ecological well-being. His work adopts a critical mode of enquiry in that it seeks to identify the underlying drivers and systemic causes of present-day unsustainability. He also teaches and researches in the area of collaboration and organisational networks, modes of organising that are essential for addressing the multiple crises facing contemporary society.
